Description Michael Meltner 2010-12-09 13:46:53 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: MS Windows

the exec function of menus (esp context menus) is crashing if executed unter ruby 1.9.2p0 compiled for mingw32.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- ruby 1.9.2p0 from rubyinstaller
- kdebindings 4.5.4
- Qt 4.6.3
- winXP
execute "examples/mainwindows/menus" in the included examples of kdebindings
right-clicking in the main window

Actual Results:
after right-clicking in the main window the program immediately crashes

Expected Results:
context menu pop-up

- does not happen with same kdebindings version, same QT version but ruby191-p430
- QT version 4.7.1 shows identical behaviour, so it does not seem to be related to the actual Qt version being used
