Description R Muench 2010-12-08 18:31:07 UTC
Application: kontact (4.4.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2)
Qt Version: 4.6.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-26-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
I think the fault is related to that, that I have imported (menu guided via mouse clicks) an old kmail-suite created a few years ago (with the kde-adressbook, updated continously with OS updates on a regular basis) and found, that there was a mismatch, when I try to add adresses to the adressbook (or delete one).
To get kontact and akonadi reasonable working I had to extend the user rights to 7 (rwx).
Till now; when I launch Kontact after reboot the first time akonadi crashes. following runs of Kontact work reasonable.
The crash in question occured after ther first run of Kontact.

Additionally; The fault remained after a installing the OS from scratch

The crash can be reproduced every time.
