Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.2) OS: Linux I never used nautilus intensively, but today I tried it and after 10 seconds, I was able to use SMB shares of my company without much hassle. The handling is quite userfriendly (but it still can be made easier). The "connect to server" menu-entry is quite a good way for windows-users. It behaves like a mount, and you can "unmount" the share with a button-click on the left. In dolphin, I find it very hard to use network shares without the network-browsing in dolphin (not everyone knows or likes to browse through the network). Some people know the name of the share, but don't want to type a "smb://xxxx" in the address line. They just want to "connect" to a share, as in ***dows. Of course, network shares work very well in Dolphin principally, this convenience-service should be doable on GUI-level only (maybe a function to unmount it by button-press is necessary). Reproducible: Always
