Description Adrián Chaves (Gallaecio) 2010-12-04 14:11:35 UTC
Version: 4.5.2 (using KDE 4.5.80)
OS: Linux

When opening an image from Konqueror, like this one[1], I can't save it replacing another. I get an error message saying that image already exist (it is, an image with the name I chose). I think you should get a replacement dialog, like you would do when trying to rename an image to a name tht another image is already using, like it happens in Dolphin.

Reproducible: Always

This does only happen using View Mode->KHTML. In KHTMLPopupGUIClient::saveURL in kdelibs/khtml/khtml_ext.cpp there is a comment // TODO: use KIO::RenameDlg (shows more information).

Using View Mode->Webkit you get the same dialog as in Dolphin/Konqueror filemanager mode. Reason is apparently that kdelibs/kdewebkit/kwebpage.cpp has KIO::RenameDialog for this task.
