Description Blackpaw 2010-12-04 02:19:25 UTC
Application: akonadi_ical_resource (0.1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.5.80 (4.6 Beta1)
Qt Version: 4.7.0
Operating System: Linux 2.6.35-23-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.10

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
In personal information I was adding a Calendar resource to the Akonadi resource - a standard vCal file. Akonadi would crash when syncing the resource. This happens every time I try it.

I can supply a copy of the file if needed.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

New crash information added by DrKonqi

kontact (4.4.7) on KDE Platform 4.5.80 (4.6 Beta1) using Qt 4.7.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Creating new Contact ((using "New Contact" button; all contacts are stored as vcard file in folder). I have tried to import already existing vcard contact as well and it crashed as well.

Seems to be fixed in KDE 4.6 RC 2, I'm using the Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty) Packages on x86. One of my calendars is in a local file, the other is read-only and fetched periodically via HTTP. Both work, no crashes, on-disk-changes in the local file are immediately detected and the calendar updated.
Comment 6 Tomas 2011-01-12 22:42:41 UTC
I do confirm both creating and importing of Contacts is working well in kontact (4.4.9) on KDE Platform 4.5.95 (4.6 RC2) using Qt 4.7.0. I have retested this on the same files I have reported bug before.
