Description Mathias D 2010-12-03 21:56:38 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: Linux

Hi. That Problem is very frustrating. When I got a message for example from "alias@example.com" to "mailinglist-stud" and I try to awnswer to that message, kmail replays per default to the mailinglist. That is REALLY FRUSTRATING. I happens 3 times now, that I dont mind that. If I want awnswer, I like to replay first of all to the sender. If I had choosed "replay to all" instead, it may be correct to awnswer to mailinglist. but I does not. In worst cases all members of a list get mails, I originally addressed to the origin sender of a message. PLEASE, change that (or tell me, how to do)! That is really disturbing me. :-/

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Awnswer directly to a message witch is from one sender to a mailinglist. KMail awnswers not to the sender but to the mailinglist

Actual Results:
KMail awnswers to the whole mailinglist

Expected Results:
KMail should awnswer to the sender of a message by default.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-23-generic
Compiler: cc

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
