Description Christopher Yeleighton 2010-11-29 01:18:15 UTC
Version: 2.4 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

There is no way to create shortcuts to plugged-in commands, such as "Edit metadata". The command is buried so deep in the hierarchical menu that it would save much annoyance to be able to take it to the desktop.
Moreover, the Information pane should have a context-sensitive command "Edit metadata".

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tell Gwenview to customise tool bars.
2. Tell Gwenview to show the metadata tool bar.
3. Tell Gwenview to bind the command "Edit XMP metadata" to some function key.

Actual Results:
2. Nope.
3. Nope.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34.7-0.5-desktop
Compiler: gcc
