(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: 2.1.1. (using KDE 2.1.1 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Debian Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.0
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: (running binaries not local compiled)

It might be cool to implement a feature that would allow scrolling (like a wheel mouse) by holding down the middle mouse button and dragging the mouse.

Galeon and several Windows applications perform something similar by clicking the MMB and then allowing you to move the mouse up and down. You then click again to stop scrolling. You may need to solve the problem of clicking the MMB trying to paste the current selection. Galeon seems to solve this problem so that may be worth looking at. You may also want to change the mouse icon to show you are in "scrolling mode"
