Version: 1.3.1 (using KDE 4.5.3) OS: Linux In case the user wants Konversation to look different from the rest of KDE, themes would be handy in order not to have to change each colour one by one. The ability to switch between themes also facilitates to change to a darker theme when working in a dark room etc. kde-apps.org etc already offer themes for konversation that are "enabled" by install scripts that mess with the konversationrc. Reproducible: Always

Unless kde colours include settings for IRC colours and nicknames etc. this is not a dup!
Don't worry, it's a dupe because those features are part of our plans and we don't need multiple tickets to track them. In particular I recommend you take a look at the PDF linked from the bug I closed this one as a duplicate of. There are sample designs there of color scheme configuration UI that supports an arbitrary number of scheme entries, as well as a predefined "System Colors" scheme that tries to auto-derive its values as best it can from KDE's colors. Our plans for the actual UI design have changed somewhat since, but the basic idea is still around.
