Description mps 2010-11-27 02:31:39 UTC
Version: 1.6.5 (using KDE 4.5.80)
OS: Linux

In the articles window for a particular feed (eg bbc news) left clicking the mouse on the titles will open some (but not all in an external browser). It should only open the summary in the summary pane.

Same behaviour with 4.5 also.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open a feed which has a bunch of unread articles. Left click on the titles (to open the summary). Some will be opened in external browser. Happens regularly but not *every* left click on an article title causes it to open in external browser.

Actual Results:
Some articles are opened in external browser when no explicit request has been made to do so.

Expected Results:
Left click should only open summary. *Middle click* should (and does) open in external browser.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35.6-48.fc14.x86_64
Compiler: gcc

The only possible explanation is that you double clicked instead of just clicking on the title.

Maybe your mouse is not configured properly (systemsettings/input devices/mouse/ then look at the advanced tab, the default value for "Double Click Interval" should be 400ms)
