Description Gerry Gavigan 2010-11-25 17:30:49 UTC
Version: SVN trunk (KDE 4)
OS: Linux

deleting emails produced two effects:

after a fair amount of deleting, the headers of deleted emails remained (faintly) visible in the folder

(closing and re-opening kontact sorted it out)

after a fair amount of deleting, the folder cleared itself and refreshed itself

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
it seems to occur only after several deletes

It's an effect I've noticed in a couple of instances of kontact (it might be unconnected), reported in bugs 257867, 257869

just deleted a load of emails from my inbox, originally 47 unread, but the "counter" has stuck at 16

just deleted a load of emails from my inbox, originally 47 unread, but the "counter" has stuck at 16, opening and closing kontact sets counter correctly at 1

OK - I need to spend longer observing what has happened before reporting :)

The deleted emails have reappeared in my inbox (but not as unread)

Hej,

still reproducible with current version?

Ciao,
Tobias

Can't comment unfortunately. I rolled back from kmail 2, I'm using kmail 1.13 as part of kontact 4.4.11 (on the advice of the developers...)
