Description Aitor 2010-11-24 17:54:44 UTC
Version: 4.5 (using KDE 4.5.3)
OS: Linux

If I start my laptop not being plugged, powersave settings are not applied. The plasma widget shows the correct profile (Agressive powersave) but desktop effects are not disabled and they should be so. Once I change the profile, they are applied correctly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Boot the laptop not being plugged.
Have power profiles configured so desktop effects aren't enabled on energy save profiles

Actual Results:
The computer boots with desktop effects enabled

Expected Results:
The computer should boot without desktop effects enabled

Is this the case in 4.6 again? There will be no more releases of KDE 4.5.
