Description Tristan Miller 2010-11-22 15:38:34 UTC
Version: 2.4-GIT (using KDE 4.5.3)
OS: Linux

Amarok's display of rating half-stars is inconsistent. In the playlist and Current Track applet, half-star ratings are denoted by the left half of a vertically bisected star. In the OSD, half-star ratings are denoted by a small star. This is confusing; please choose one system or the other.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable the Current Track applet and the OSD. Configure the OSD so that it displays the track rating.
2. Rate a track with a non-integral number of stars (e.g., 1/2, 1 1/2, 2 1/2, 3 1/2, 4 1/2)
3. Play the track

Actual Results:
4. In the Current Track applet and the playlist, the track rating is shown with literally half a star, cut vertically down the middle. But in the OSD, the track rating is shown with a small star.

Expected Results:
4. All three half-star ratings should be shown with the same graphic.
