Description ebedsat 2010-11-20 15:45:08 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 1.2)
OS: MS Windows

I am using vista home edition with sp2.

I found a problem when trying to import my X.509 certificate, it said could not determine the certificate type.

When creating new pgp certificate it also failed on the cretion key process, the one with typing random letter and bla.. bla..

What happened?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
i click the import certificate button above certificate list and i click file > new certificate

Actual Results:
the imprt function said couldnt determine certificate type. and the new pgp key creation didnt give me a new pgp key.

Expected Results:
my X.509 certificate in the certificate list and new pgp key

I am using vista home edition 32 bit sp2.

1) Do import a certificate you have to make sure that it has a file extension matching the contents of that file so that kleopatra can determine the certificate type.

2) If you still can't create a pgp key with gpg4win 2.1.0 please open a new bug report. Mentioning how the key creation fails. Is there an error for example?
