Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux Since version 4.5.0 Dolphin takes too long to respond in some file management as click and drag or even rename and copy and paste files or directories. Often the Dolphin crash when managing files. Reproducible: Didn't try
Thanks for the bug report! This is most likely bug 226725, which is a bug in the D-Bus library (fixed in D-Bus 1.3.1 and later). This bug makes Dolphin freeze for some seconds or even crash sometimes. Could you try to disable the Information Panel and Tool Tips? If that fixes your problem, it's really bug 226725. Thanks!
Apparently the problem was corrected by disabling the information panel, but yesterday I did an upgrade from version 4.5.1 to version 4.5.3. To view the tips had been disabled before. It may be that some of these problems reported before about the slowness to manage files and directories has been resolved. Track the behavior of Dolphin going forward to make sure this bug is really slow and successive errors were related to the Information Panel. Thanks! =) Em 20-11-2010 07:51, Frank Reininghaus escreveu: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=257363 > > > Frank Reininghaus<frank78ac@googlemail.com> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > CC| |frank78ac@googlemail.com > > > > > --- Comment #1 from Frank Reininghaus<frank78ac googlemail com> 2010-11-20 10:51:49 --- > Thanks for the bug report!
