Version: unspecified (using Devel) OS: Linux The 'reduce font size for quoted text' functionality does not seem implemented since it does nothing at the moment. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: - Launch Kmail-mobile - Open the 'Actions' tab - Click on 'Mail' - Click on 'Configure' - In the Appearance section, check the 'reduce font size for quoted text' - Click on 'Ok' - Click on 'Write New Email' - Enter a subject, a recipient (your Imap inbox) and a few words as well as quoted text (ex: 'This text should be displayed smaller since it is a quote') in the Composer text editor - Click on 'Send' button - The email is properly sent and received - Click on it from your Imap Inbox to display its content Actual Results: The quoted text is not displayed smaller than the standard text so I am guessing that this functionality is not yet implemented. Expected Results: The quoted text should be displayed using a smaller font. N900, 4:4.6~20101117.1198109-1maemo1.1198084
This option is about viewing emails, not composing them, and it seems to work fine, on the desktop and on the phone.
Indeed it works fine ;o) I did not test this functionality correctly. Here are the steps to test this properly: - Launch Kmail-mobile - Click on your Imap inbox - Select an email containing text in its body - Open the 'Actions' tab - Click on 'Email' - Click on 'Reply' - Add a few words under the existing body - Click on 'Send' - The email is sent and received properly The quoted text ie the initial body appears with a '>' sign in front of it and is smaller than the added text. So I am closing this bug. N900, 4:4.6~20101210.1205130-1maemo1.1204898
