Version: 2.0.1 OS: MS Windows It would be great to be able to select in the x/y markers the already automatically computed scalars (like for example Vector/mean) Additionnally if this new capability would be able to understand simple equations like insert " 2 * Vector/Max" Reproducible: Didn't try OS: Windows 32-Bit
it is already possible to display scalars and equations of scalars in labels. Is this what you mean? Or do you mean something else?
I did not find an option to add in plot a line (or a y-marker) with the mean value of the vector y. I did only find this when you enter a fixed value like "0.5" I forsee a drop-down list below the "new marker point" where all the scalars computed by Kst are listed. When choosing a scalar, Kst inserts it in the "current markers" Parallel to it, it would be useful to be able to create new scalars using the existing ones, similar to the existing equations
I think we have to rework that capability a bit. I have some ideas... In my opinion, it should be possible to: - add markers with fixed figures (as now) - add markers from kst scalars (this request), but we'd need to be able to have "computed scalars" (second point in this request), which would best fit into the "new scalar" dialog - add markers from curves on edges (as now) - give each marker its own curve style/color/etc characteristics (new) => that will have the most dramatic impact on the UI I am not convinced about the creation of markers from vectors, unless we can create a vector with values entered by hand, which I think is not the case right now.
