In my collection there are several files which have different names for the same artist or composer. For example one album the album is tagged with "Micheal Jackson" as album artist and the next album is tagged as "Jackson, Micheal" and a third as "Jackson Micheal". All albums appear under different artists in the amarok collection browser. It would be really great if amarok offers a way to combine all theses albums under one entry.
I know that it's quite difficult to figure out what's the first name of the artist and what's the last name. 
A quite similar problem is the handling of a tracks with several artists. E.g. "Micheal Jackson feat. Akon". When you have a single track within an album with a slightly different artist name, amarok displays the entire album under various artists. If amarok would recognize the artist as "Micheal Jackson" and "Akon" it could put the album under "Micheal Jackson" and mark this special track with two artists.
The same problem exists for the composer tag of tracks. I think there might be more tags out there, which would benefit from a "special name handling".
