Version: 4.4 (using KDE 4.4.4) OS: Linux When adding bookmarked locations in dolphin to the places menu, I get the following error message: "Unable to save bookmarks in C:/Users/M6400/.local/share//user-places.xbel. Reported error was: Insufficient permissions in target directory.. This error message will only be shown once. The cause of the error needs to be fixed as quickly as possible, which is most likely a full hard drive." Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Open dolphin in KDE on Windows, right click in the places menu, click add entry, click OK, observe error message. Actual Results: Error message, bookmark disappears when dolphin is closed and reopened. Expected Results: Bookmark added, stays when dolphin is closed and reloaded.
Manually creating required folder: ~\.local\share\user-places.xbel solves the problem. Suggest automatically creating this text file during the installation?
Seems to be an error in KDE for Windows (which is in Beta state) and you should have set “OS” to Windows to have it more clearly. But should be fixed anyway.
Can't reproduce using 4.10.2 on Windows. Close for now, but please reopen if the problem still exists in recent versions.
