Description Paul Menzel 2010-11-13 15:46:33 UTC
Version:           1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS:                Linux

Some messages sent with KMail were threaded incorrectly in Evolution [1]. I am copying parts of that report to this message.

This example is taken from an dri-devel thread [2] and the mbox file is attached to the report in the GNOME BTS [1].

    From: Jesse Barnes <jbarnes@virtuousgeek.org>
    To: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
    Subject: Re: [BISECTED, -next] drm/i915: blurred HDMI output

               <201010182114.00329.arnd@arndb.de>
    X-Mailer: Claws Mail 3.7.6 (GTK+ 2.18.9; x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu)

The wrong threaded AB2 has the following entries.

    Subject: Re: [BISECTED, -next] drm/i915: blurred HDMI output

Looking at these excepts `References:` in the message composed with KMail is missing the following ID.

    <20101018115648.09bac8be@jbarnes-desktop>

I do not use KMail and so I just saw the result.

I cannot reproduce with the given steps and a recent kmail version. The threading is correct (screenshot attached)

Ah, looks like I misunderstood what this report is about.

Evolution was fixed according to the report.
