Description Sabine Faure 2010-11-13 02:15:08 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

There seem to be an entire section missing from the 'Save Attachment' dialogue as the user cannot click to browse and find a location for the attachment to be saved in.

Atm she has to know the exact location path and type it in to get to it which is not really convenient.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Prerequisite: Send an email with a small image attached from a desktop computer
to your Imap account on the N900 (ex: Email 3)

- Launch Kmail-mobile
- Click on your Imap inbox
- Click on Email 3
- Open the 'Actions' tab
- Click on 'Attachments'
- Click on 'Save All Attachments'
- A 'Save Attachment' dialogue opens

Actual Results:
But the main section of this dialogue that is usually used for browsing to select a location for the file is entirely missing or at least is not displayed.

In the desktop version of the file browser this section can be found under the path location but above the File name.

Expected Results:
It should be possible to browse and find a location to save the file easily.

Note: atm the only work around is to type in the exact path for the file to be saved in.

1. Click at the end of the path line edit so that it becomes editable
2. Enter the exact path for the file to be saved in

It is not very handy but it works fine. The file is correctly saved on the N900 and can be reopened from another application.

After save all the file dialog appears. It is possible to select a directory and a document name.
