amarok is stopped but tray icon shows as if it's playing

Version: 2.4-GIT (using KDE 4.5.3)
OS: Linux

When it finishes playing a song (either single or last song in a playlist), Amarok doesn't stop but stays in a sort of limbo, with small white arrow still showing in tray icon, and external plasmoids that show current song on play do not record it as stopped but they show as it was playing an empty song with no cover. Anyway OSD normally displays "stopped" when tune ends.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
it happens every time to me, whenever it finishes playing the last song in playlist.

Expected Results:
stop playing and result as stopped to external plasmoids, with no arrow on the icon tray

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35.8
Compiler: gcc 4.5.1
Distribution: Slackware current

I can't reproduce this, using Amarok 2.4-git of today, KDE 4.5.3 on Kubuntu 10.10. Could you please check you have the latest build?

I've furtherly investigated and I've determined it's the presence of "Current Song" plasmoid causing this issue. If I remove this plasmoid from plasma desktop, Amarok works as espected. I guess there's some sort of wrong communication between this plasmoid and the new version of Amarok.

Oh, I misunderstood your initial report, sorry. Reassigning to the nowplaying-widget in plasma, since we do not maintain it

I can't reproduce this with kde 4.7.3, with or without the "now playing" widget (on desktop or in panel). Lonestar can you try with a more recent version of KDE :)

oh I don't see this issue anymore since many versions! Sorry for forgetting to add feedback to this bug :( It can be safely shut. Thanks and sorry again.
