Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.3) OS: Linux In several place in systemsettings the controls inside a window are way to wide to fit inside the window even if their is no apparent reason for them to be that wide. Example places (I translate the name back in english, I hope that will not too far from the original name) : Sharing/Samba (screenshot 1), Accessibility (screenshot 3), Windows behaviour/Windows behaviour (screenshot 4)... Some screenshots are joined. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Just open the systemsettings pannel and choose one of the problematic items. Actual Results: Controls like text inputs or buttons are too wide for the window frame leading to a horizontal scroll to be added when their is no need to have so wide controls. Ironicaly enough if I widen the window they are able to extend themself to fill the window completly (screenshot 2). Expected Results: Controls can adapt their size to the window frame (maybe to a certain minimal limit), text labels' lines can wrap on several line. Window decoration : Oxygen, Desktop theme: Air

> text labels' lines can wrap on several line. You could ask the french translation team to use shorter translations. There are several problems in Qt with word wrapped labels. For example, see http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-8212. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 171985 ***
