Description Bjoern Ricks 2010-11-12 09:41:31 UTC
Adding a recipient in the composer doesn't show letters before the current cursor position with autocompletion. If the recipient is added manually the edit field no problem occurs.

I was able to reproduce this bug today.

Here is how to reproduce it:

- Launch Kmail-mobile
- Click on 'Write New Email'
- Enter a subject, a recipient and a few words in the Composer editor.
- Click on 'Send'
- Click on 'Write New Email' again
- Enter the first letter of the same recipient's email address (if the autocompletion does not work enter the email fully and click on 'send' one more time and then repeat last two steps again)

Actual result:
The autocompletion has completed the address and suggests it by showing it in grey. However, the first letter of the address is missing.

- Press the right arrow key to accept the autocompletion

Each time you do one letter of the greyed suggested by the autocompletion email address disappears.

Expected result:
Last time I tested this pressing the right arrow key confirmed the suggested autocompletion which turned from grey to black one letter at a time if the user presses the key slowly or if she holds it, all at once.

Work around: Clicking at the end of the 'To' line edit still confirms the suggested autocompletion (you can try it now, it works even if some letters are missing at the beginning).
