Description Simon Yuan 2010-11-10 23:56:57 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.3)
OS: Linux

The user is only notified about new mails arrived in the inbox folder currently selected, new mails received in other accounts are not notified.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Setup more than one account (tested with IMAP only, might be the same for POP as well). eg. somebody@gmail.com and someguy@myisp.com
2) Set the checking time interval to 1 min
3) Select the inbox folder of the gmail account
4) Send one email to BOTH the gmail account the ISP provided account
5) Wait briefly for KMail to check for new mails
6) Observe the results in the notification

Actual Results:
1 new message in GMail/inbox

Expected Results:
1 new message in GMail/inbox
1 new message in MyISP/inbox

I can confirm the behaviour described. Using arch linux 64bit.

I can also confirme this, which as far as I know has been going on since 4.3(atleast as I can remember)

Using Arch x86_64

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
