Description Sabine Faure 2010-11-05 22:49:09 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

There are several display problems when forwarding an email as attachment.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Kmail-mobile
- Click on 'Write new Email'
- Fill in subject(Email 1), recipient (your imap inbox) and a few words in the composer text editor (ex:initial message sent with a long description to detect any display bugs)
- Click on 'Send'
- Click on Email 1 to read it
- Open the 'Actions' tab
- Click on 'Email'
- Click and hold 'Forward'
- Click on 'Forward as Attachment' button
- Enter a subject (ex: Email 2), a recipient (your imap inbox) and a few words in the composer text editor (ex: forwarded message test with a long description to see if it is displayed at all)
- Click on 'Send'
- Email 2 is properly sent and received
- Click on Email 2 to display its content
- Email 2 attachment (ie Email 1) is automatically opened so it can be read.

Actual Results:
However Email 1's description is displayed underneath the 'End of encapsulated message'.

Also the description that was entered in Email 2 is not displayed at all.

Expected Results:
The initial email description should be displayed above the 'End of encapsulated message' warning.

Email 2 description should be displayed in the email body.

Comment 2 Sabine Faure 2010-12-02 21:00:50 UTC
I retested this today and it is still not totally corrected.

Email 1's body is now fully and properly displayed since there is no more 'End of encapsulated message'.

However Email 2's body description is still missing completely.

I'll retest later
