Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux this is for KOrganizer version 4.4.6, which is unavailable in the "Application Version" selection list. when the reminder daemon pops up, it seems to determine whether to show the selected event's details based on whether they were shown last time i used the daemon, regardless of whether an event is actually selected in the list of reminders. clicking on an event in the list repeatedly toggles the details rather than simply displaying the details for the selected event. deselecting all events does not hide the details view. is there a reason why the details are sometimes hidden? it seems that no harm is done by always showing them. the toggling behavior is somewhat unintuitive. it seems to me that selecting an event should change the details view to display that event's details, as is done in other KDE apps, rather than toggling the details view. Reproducible: Always OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-23-generic Compiler: cc
the problem persists with KOrganizer 4.4.7 with KDE 4.5.3 on Kubuntu 10.10.
still present with KOrganizer 4.4.9 with KDE 4.6.0.
Yeah, it behaves strangely.
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korgac (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
