Description Benedikt Bauer 2010-11-05 11:18:01 UTC
Version: 1.0.0 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

Sometimes urls in the message window can only be wrapped in such a way that a horizontal scroll bar is necessary. If the total length of the messages displayed is then long enough to produce also a vertical scroll bar, it can happen that the vertical bar reduces the line length by an amount which changes the point where the url is wrapped to the next line. Therefore the horizontal scroll bar is no longer needed then and the message window gains about one line in text height. Therefore the vertical scroll bar gets obsolete, which changes the way the url is wrapped back to the initial state. This again results in a horizontal scroll bar and so on...
Finally the Window is stuck in an infinite loop of switching between vertical and horizontal scroll bar. If you try to close the window KDE tells that it is no longer responding and asks to kill kopete.

Reproducible: Sometimes

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-22-generic
Compiler: cc
