Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.2) OS: Linux I prefer to seach the german wikipedia because that's my native language. But when I use the wikipedia plugin for krunner and type in the shortcut "wiki" followed by the terms I want to search for I only get a list with the english wikipedia links. In the plugin settings there's no configuration option. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: There should be a configuration option for the wikipedia plugin that allows the user to set the preferred language version of wikipedia. Fallback should stay the english wikipedia.
As alternative to language settings the wikipedia plugin maybe could use the system locale? Though I'd prefer to have it as per user setting.
The major "problem" with this thing is that the Wikipedia runner uses an underlying MediaWiki API thingie which is utilized by KDE's Techbase and Userbase runners as well. The MediaWiki API query thing is only given the API URL (which is http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php in case of Wikipedia) and this one only querys in the English wikipedia. I looked at the API docs but I can't find a way to make it query in a different language on the same API domain (i.e. "uselang=de" or something like that), so I need to enable the MediaWiki runner to replate that "en" in the URL by "de" or "fr" etc. I put it on my ToDo-list for 4.9 :)

Now the url used in the runner is different: >https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=\{@}&go=Go This should be easy any intuitive if you want to edit it.
