Description Christoph Wickert 2010-11-03 10:08:48 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.6)
OS: Linux

The korganizer reminder daemon does not honor daylight saving on reoccurring events. After the time change, it notifies me at the wrong time, one hour to early. korganizer itself is fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Add a reoccurring event and enable a reminder 5 minutes before the event. Wait for the next time change.

Actual Results:
The notification is one hour too early/late. Instead of showing the notification 5 minutes before the appointment, it is shown 65 minutes before or 55 past. korganizer is right though.

Expected Results:
korgac and korganizer should be in sync, the notification should always be shown 5 minutes before the event.

The application version is actually kdepim-4.4.6-2.fc14, but bugzilla wouldn't let me select 4.4.6 for korganizer, so I chose "unspecified".

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korgac (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
