Description Benedikt Ortmayr 2010-11-02 20:06:05 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.2)
OS: Linux

Hey whats up

please bring the cpufreq - selector back to the powermanagement, there is no reason to disable it.
In kde with 3d on and flash or html5 my cpu run always on full power, i´ve a core i5 cpu and the cooler always runs, in the old versions from kde i always have my profile powersave-ben and the cpu has the lowest freq and all runs good also in HD.

in the newer versions it is not possible to make it

i dont want to use the console when i´m working in KDE, there are alredy enough WM´s for that dont you think so too.

And when you think silly peoples work with KDE then please make a admin login for more settings.

sincerely

Benedikt

KDE user since 15 years

Reproducible: Always
