Description S. Burmeister 2010-11-02 15:20:15 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.2)
OS: Linux

I have an email which contains ~1700 words. If I scroll through that text e.g. by dragging the scrollbar up and down, kontact uses 100% of one cpu core.

Reproducible: Always

I cannot reproduce that anymore. (I was able a few months ago with a very big commit)

Please retest & close/reassign

You are right. With 4.8 it's down to 10% as it seems and that's as much as firefox uses when scrolling text pages. So I guess any further improvement would be a wishlist item.
