Description Stefano 2010-10-31 09:32:36 UTC
Version: 1.4.0 (using KDE 4.5.2)
OS: Linux

Flickr exports digikam tags even if option is not enabled

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Digikam tags are visible in Flickr images. Needs to remove there manually.

Expected Results:
Option in dialog is unchecked, should not act this way.
Comment 1 Stefano 2010-10-31 09:57:53 UTC
By "option" I refert to "Use Host application tags", dont know if I'm mis-interpreting.
Comment 2 Johannes Wienke 2010-10-31 10:18:06 UTC
Do you write metadata to your image files with digikam?
Comment 3 Stefano 2010-10-31 10:19:56 UTC
Oh... I see, yes I've started to write them on the image a while ago.

Then, would like to see a "dont transfer tags", but this is another story ;)

Just to be sure that this is really the reason: could please upload one of the images where you notice this problem directly using the flickr webupload and see if the tags are automatically parsed by flickr?

Gilles,Johannes Wienke and Stefano,
I tested for this and found that digikam doesn't export tags if option is disabled.I tried uploading a image by enabling and disabing tags and found reguired result
