Error message while editing the load information

Version: 4.5 (using KDE 4.5.2)
OS: Linux

Hi,

I lend some money to a person and that person would pay me back all the lent money in one go. I decided to manage this personal loan through KMyMoney, but after some time I realized I set the wrong value in the term field. I put 1 year, and what I really intended was to put 1 payment. Thus, I tried to edit the loan properties to change this, so it didn't charge incorrect payments. It also happens this person has paid me back today, but KMyMoney has scheduled another payment for the next year. I haven't been able to change this and whatever I do, it always lead to the next error (see also the attached file): http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/3564/kmymoney2editloanerror.png

I hope you can give me some help to sort it out.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Create a loan intended to be paid back in one go.

Actual Results:
Can't change the term field.

Expected Results:
Been able to change the term field.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

If you intend to pay your loan back in one go, then you better use a liability account.
The loan account had a few issues that were fixed and are going to be available in the next stable version. Probably this one is part of that.

Unless someone disagrees, I'm going to close this as NOT A BUG. There might have actually been a bug underlying the problem, but the image is no longer available, and as Alvaro mentioned, further work has been done related to loans, so there is no way to be sure.

Closing per message of almost two years ago.
