Description Sabine Faure 2010-10-29 22:14:18 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

Clicking on the Imap inbox to read its emails crashes Kmail-mobile.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Kmail-mobile
- Click on your Imap resource
- Click on your Imap inbox

Actual Results:
Before the emails from the Imap inbox can be displayed Kmail-mobile crashes.

Expected Results:
The emails from the Imap inbox should be displayed properly as it was the case before.

This is a regression since it worked fine last time I tested it on Wednesday (27/10/10).

I am setting this bug as High priority since it prevents me from testing the single folder view functionalities (View section) using the Imap inbox.

I had a look in gdb, and it seems to be an uncaught akonadi exception. However I couldn't get a valid backtrace, it's corrupted (optimized out, probably because the n900 packages are not a debug build).

Is this still happening? There have been several fixes for the mail threading code recently, which is what most likely triggered this crash.

Any news on this?
Comment 4 Sabine Faure 2010-12-10 17:56:00 UTC
It has been corrected for a while now.

I did not see the comments about it before. Sorry about that.

The user can access the Imap inbox without any problem and read emails as well so I am closing this bug now.
