Description SZÉKELYI Szabolcs 2010-10-27 10:38:11 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

When using threaded view, it's usually a problem that the folder view shows unread messages, but in the message list, they're hidden because of collapsed threads. If this happens, it's quite hard to find the unread messages since I have to expand all threads.

It would be nice if the thread starter message had some recognizable indication that the thread contains unread messages, so one doesn't have to go through all threads to find them.

A similar feature is present in Mozilla's Thunderbird, and it's very convenient. It shows such threads with the subject of thread starter message underlined.

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2

Yes, sure! It would be nice to have this feature for kmail2, too.
