Description Ralf Jung 2010-10-26 10:42:02 UTC
Application: dolphin (1.5)
KDE Platform Version: 4.5.1 (KDE 4.5.1)
Qt Version: 4.7.0
Operating System: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.10

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I was doing several uploads in parallel: All the jobs overwrote a bunch of existing files, but for those that were started with another job already running, the "Do you want to overwrite" dialog only appeared aftr some minutes or not at all. So I cancelled the hanging jobs in order to re-start them after the first one finished, and while doing so, Dolphin crashed.

-- Backtrace:
Application: Dolphin (dolphin), signal: Segmentation fault

Thanks for the bug report! This looks a bit like bug 192976 which is actually fixed since 4.3.5...
Comment 2 Ralf Jung 2010-10-26 11:27:00 UTC
Yes, I got that offered by the crash assistant - but I am using KDE 4.5.1 and never had anything older than 4.4 installed on this machine. So maybe the bug re-appeared?

Crash in old unmaintained KF4 software with no duplicates from any Qt5/KF5 versions. If anyone can still reproduce using recent KF5 versions of KIO and Dolphin, please file a new bug. Thanks!
