Version: 0.1 (using KDE 4.4.2) OS: Linux When I open a CD in Konqueror, although the directories look like this: CDA (empty) FLAC (empty) Full CD (5 files, all with reasonable lengths, representing the complete disc in five different formats) Information (gives "The process for the audiocd protocol died unexpectedly" when clicked) MP3 (empty) Ogg Vorbis (empty) There seems to be no way to obtain the individual files corresponding to the individual tracks for the different codecs. In earlier versions, the MP3 and similar directories were populated with the individual tracks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Put a CD in the drive. Open it with Konqueror. Actual Results: The CDA, MP3, FLAC and Ogg Vorbis directories are empty. Expected Results: The CDA, MP3, FLAC and Ogg Vorbis directories should appear to be populated. OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-25-generic Compiler: cc

Dear Bug Submitter, This is a reminder that this bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? This bug will be moved back to REPORTED Status for manual review later, which may take a while. If you are able to, please lend us a hand. This is an old bug and may not be relevant for KF5, but this is just to confirm exactly the same problem (no audio files shown except for "Full CD") with current Plasma 5 master. However, it only happens in the case where the CD is not in the first drive (i.e. in /dev/srN where N>=1). I've committed a fix to libkcompactdisc that fixes the problem with drives other than the first not working: https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/libkcompactdisc/commit/a83b6065a0edea0e970b69d85b3a0a3eb5687cac This might not be the same symptoms or root cause as the original report, but if there is no further confirmation or activity on this but then I will set it to FIXED. There are still some outstanding problems with the audiocd ioslave, but they will be addressed separately.
