- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Just came out of suspend on laptop running KDE on Ubuntu 10.10 (kubuntu). Unable to connect to wireless network, I attempt to disable wireless and networking using plasma network-manager widget. 

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

Clicking wireless network connection from list provided by tray widget immediately fails and goes back to "configuring interface" status

- Custom settings of the application:

Wireless connection is hidden, so user must rely on automatic connection routine that seems to happen reliably at boot/login of KDE.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
