Created attachment 52819 [details] Snapshot of what happens when the Accounts->Add button is presses. Notice the little white dot on the bottom left corner of the button. Version: 0.9.85 (1.0 Beta2) (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux Nothing happens when I press the Accounts->Add button. Reproducible: Always OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-22-generic Compiler: cc
Did you install your copy of Choqok from repos or compiled from source youself?
From the default Kubuntu 10.10 repo.
I can confirm the same problem with adding an account. I am using Choqok beta 4 (0.9.92) on Linux Mint KDE 4.5.3 compiled from the source code following the instructions in the README. All dependencies were met. If I do Settings > Configure choqok > Accounts > Add Account > Twitter... nothing happens but the Add button stays depressed. If I quit Choqok then the application crashed with a segmentation fault (probably not useful, it tells me) and then reloads.
:/ can't understand what's wrong here
Same with 0.9.98 (1.0RC1).deb on Kubuntu 10.04 - KDE 4.4.5 -Kernel 2.6.32-26- (64). Because I could not reach my existing confirmed account on twitter, I removed it. Now I cannot add an account. In both cases there is a server time out. Where can I get the old version back (0.90).?
Sorry, the mistake in my system was not by choqok. There was the wrong time (clock) on my PC. Now it works. Sorry for my bad English.
I think we can close this bug. If not - reopen.
It's still the same problem! I just installed it from the fedora 21 repo, and now I can't add my account. It's the first time I'm using the app. The add button is pressed but no choices appears. When I click away it come back unpressed... :(
I still have this bug. I found at solution at https://momeny.wordpress.com/2011/04/10/choqok-blank-screen-problem. It is not fixed. The application is relying on the cache will it should not. I have version 4.14.2.
