Created attachment 52812 [details] Kopete not working Version: SVN (using KDE 4.5.2) OS: Linux When I have kopete connected and close it via Alt-F4 keystroke, I get a message “Cannot connect to services” from the MSN plug-in and if I re-open contact list, I see nothing but unknown contacts (only the Jabber accounts seem to be remembered) and there are no accounts listed in the “Accesses” list in settings. If I close the window via close or by toggling contact list it works just fine. Really annoying as you have to restart kopete in order to make it work again. (Fortunately, it does not forget the accounts finally but re-gains them when restarting it) Reproducible: Always
Addition: Seems to randomly forget it when closing, just closed it with the X on the window decoration and the contacts were lost. Also this does not occurr when any chatwindow (ICQ or MSN) is opened!
So defintly it forgets the accounts and they are also no longer available in Kopete Settings. That occurrs whenever closing the kopete contact list (I have the tray icon disabled but shouldn‘t matter) and having no chat window opened.
Still valid for KDE 4.6 RC 1
When closing the chat window there is a function called for every plug in “shouldExitOnClose()” which is not implemented. Maybe this is the one destroying the accounts but I am not sure.
