Application: konqueror (4.5.2 (KDE 4.5.2)) KDE Platform Version: 4.5.2 (KDE 4.5.2) Qt Version: 4.7.0 Operating System: Linux 2.6.34.7-0.4-pae i686 Distribution: "openSUSE 11.3 (i586)" -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: Konqueror crashed after using the search field in the new Wikipedia user interface. I have the confirmation of sending unencrypted data enabled. The confirmation appeared twice, but the page began loading after the first confirmation. After I closed the second confirmation (which should not have been showed), Konqueror crashed, probably because the page it belonged to was no longer available. The crash can be reproduced every time. -- Backtrace: Application: Konqueror (kdeinit4), signal: Segmentation fault [Current thread is 1 (Thread 0xb5a4e710 (LWP 3813))] Thread 4 (Thread 0xad7f6b70 Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!
Wikipedia doesn't seem to use unencrypted HTTP any more, so there is no more prompt when submitting the search. I haven't experienced a crash after testing it now (using HTTPS).
