Version: unspecified (using Devel) OS: Linux I grabbed the latest Oxygen icon snapshot from KDE's repo (as of 24 hours ago) to use in another project. The following files (at least) contain errors: scalable/actions/edit-copy.svgz scalable/actions/edit-paste.svgz I found the bug when putting the icons into a QT program. During runtime, the application spits out the following from loading the two icons: " couldn't create image from "/home/david/Oxygen/trunk/32x32/actions/edit-copy.png" couldn't create image from "/home/david/Oxygen/trunk/32x32/actions/edit-paste.png" " These are leftovers from the author's local filesystem. Note that /home/david is not an account on my machine! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Put the images in a QT program's toolbar, build, and monitor the output. I'm sure there's a better way to verify this though... Expected Results: document-new, document-open, document-print, document-save, document-save-as, and edit-cut All work as expected, generating no console debugging output when used in QT. The above listed images as well as the two cited in the bug report were the only images explicitly tested. The images were originally made in (or at least last modified with) an Adobe product. Inkscape seems to have no problem with the images.
Created attachment 52712 [details] QT Project demonstrating icon failure QT Test case added for convenience... Currently running in windows (sorry!), but the same thing happens with QT in linux. Again, windows, so it's a .zip. " Qt Creator 2.0.1 Based on Qt 4.7.0 (32 bit) Built on Aug 24 2010 at 11:00:55 From revision 97d831e3de " Test build is a QT file. Open the .pro file as a QT project and build/run. The application output shows the error. This example was modified from QT's mdi example class - so there's some extra garbage, but the code is very simple and straightforward.
Note: it's called "Qt", not "QT".
