Description Christopher Yeleighton 2010-10-20 12:07:35 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

I cannot follow hyperlinks from KAddressBook.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
Tell KAddressBook to create a new contact containing a hyperlink.
Example:
KDE e.V.
+49 30-2023 7305-0
http://ev.kde.org/

2.
Tell KAddressBook to follow the hyperlink to KDE e.V.

Actual Results:
2.
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:
2.
KAddressBook should tell Konqueror to navigate to the URL.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34.7-0.4-desktop
Compiler: gcc

Workaround: Copy the URL and KRun it.

KDE 4.5.2: If you add your example to "Homepage" and move the mouse pointer to the URL in the main view, the mouse pointer changes to a pointing finger hand, click -> firefox.
Is is different in KDE 4.4.4 ?

The URL takes focus (a dotted rectangle is drawn around it), nothing happens apart from that.
