Created attachment 64307 [details] New crash information added by DrKonqi kmail (1.13.6) on KDE Platform 4.6.00 (4.6.0) "release 6" using Qt 4.7.1 - What I was doing when the application crashed: I opened a message that requested acknowledgement and the MDN popup was displayed. Before I answered, another popup appeared, telling me that sending an (unrelated) outgoing message had failed, so I selected the Outbox. Then I clicked 'Ignore' on the MDN popup and KMail crashed. -- Backtrace (Reduced): #7 0x00007f0ce8535f64 in KMMessage::createMDN (this=0x2750a40, a=KMime::MDN::ManualAction, d=KMime::MDN::Displayed, allowGUI=true, m=...) at /usr/src/debug/kdepim-4.4.10/kmail/kmmessage.cpp:1141 #8 0x00007f0ce85e9e43 in KMReaderWin::slotTouchMessage (this=0x1247ed0) at /usr/src/debug/kdepim-4.4.10/kmail/kmreaderwin.cpp:1889 #9 0x00007f0ce85f3461 in KMReaderWin::qt_metacall (this=0x1247ed0, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=37, _a=0x7fffa5b2d2c0) at /usr/src/debug/kdepim-4.4.10/build/kmail/kmreaderwin.moc:210 [...] #11 0x00007f0ce708a799 in QObject::event (this=0x1247fb8, e=<value optimized out>) at kernel/qobject.cpp:1175 #12 0x00007f0ce7574d14 in QApplicationPrivate::notify_helper (this=0x66d250, receiver=0x1247fb8, e=0x7fffa5b2da60) at kernel/qapplication.cpp:4445

Thank you for your report. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained and the code has changed sufficiently in Kmail2 so the backtraces are not really useful anymore. Should you experience the same crash in Kmail 4.8.5 or later, please open a new report for Kmail2. Thank you for your understanding
