Description Richard Gomes 2010-10-20 02:51:34 UTC
Application that crashed: kopete
Version of the application: 0.80.2
KDE Version: 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2)
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 x86_64
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux 5.0.6 (lenny)

What I was doing when the application crashed:
This is a scenario more or less difficult to test, unless I ask a counterpart to help on tests...

Well... anyway... looks like, under certain circumstances, Kopete does not detect that a contact disconnected and when I click on contact properties it crashes.

When I open Kopete again I can see that certain contacts are not there anymore and, in particular, that one I was trying to open the Properties dialog box. I mean: the dialog box does not open; Kopete crashes whilst trying to open the dialog box.

I have several accounts: 3 on YM, 1 MSN, 2 Jabber and 1 ICQ.

I havent researched exactly when this situation happens but last time I was about to open 'Properties' of a contact with YM.

This situation happened several times already.
I'm not a heavy user, so it may happen eventually in my specific case.

I've recently installed Kopete on KDE4 on Debian Lenny, using the backported KDE4 packages.

$ uname -a
Linux terra 2.6.26-2-amd64 #1 SMP Thu Sep 16 15:56:38 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
