Version: 1.13.2 (using KDE 4.4.2) OS: Linux I have Kmail setup with filters and a number of subfolders. The mail that falls through the filter appears in the inbox. Some of this that I prefer to archive in a subfolder I normally do a Move. Recently some of those moves get lost. I do not know if there has been an update or bug fix that may have caused the change. Most of the incoming mail "seems" that is moved by the filter ends up in the appropriate sub folders. Stymied?? Note I have not done a dpkg-reconfigure. Thanks Tom Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Ussing junk mail Example: 1} select mail item, Inbox. 2) Right clik, Choose Move to and subfolder [in this example Outbox ]. 3) First attempt item was moved to Outbox. OK 4) Then selected item in Outbox. 5) Right clik, Choose Move back to and Inbox. 7) On this move the mail disappeared. Expected Results: Mail to be moved to designated folder. OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-25-generic-pae Compiler: cc
Hello! Please, make a control with "akonadi console" Choose "DB Browser", "collectiontable", "Refresh" Get a look to the column "remoteId". Are there any cell(s) with nothing? If yes, let me/us know by copying the raw(s).
Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
