Version: 1.68.0 (using KDE 4.3.5) OS: Linux When trying to import a stereo CD quality 44.1kHz 16-bit wav file bounced directly from Protools into k3b, I get the following error: Unable to handle the following files due to an unsupported format: You may manually convert these audio files to wave using another application supporting the audio format and then add the wave files to the K3b project. I believe the file format is Broadcast Wave (BWF) but uses a .wav extension. Support in k3b for this format would be much appreciated, it means I could master my Audio CDs with k3b using cd-text without needing to convert all my files after bouncing. Here is a hexdump of the header of one of my files i am trying to import into k3b: 00000000 52 49 46 46 7c 34 27 02 57 41 56 45 62 65 78 74 |RIFF|4'.WAVEbext| 00000010 5a 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 |Z...............| 00000020 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 |................| * 00000110 00 00 00 00 50 72 6f 20 54 6f 6f 6c 73 00 00 00 |....Pro Tools...| 00000120 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 |................| 00000130 00 00 00 00 67 46 54 55 45 47 53 33 66 57 63 61 |....gFTUEGS3fWca| 00000140 61 61 47 6b 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 |aaGk............| 00000150 00 00 00 00 32 30 31 30 2d 31 30 2d 31 35 31 33 |....2010-10-1513| 00000160 3a 31 38 3a 33 36 a1 6b ee 0f 00 00 00 00 00 00 |:18:36.k........| 00000170 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 |................| * 00000260 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 66 6d |..............fm| 00000270 74 20 10 00 00 00 01 00 02 00 44 ac 00 00 10 b1 |t ........D.....| 00000280 02 00 04 00 10 00 6d 69 6e 66 10 00 00 00 b4 e1 |......minf......| 00000290 d4 7a 6b 6c cb 01 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 65 6c |.zkl..........el| 000002a0 6d 31 52 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 |m1R.............| 000002b0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 |................| * 000003f0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 64 61 74 61 00 30 27 02 |........data.0'.| 00000400 01 00 01 00 ff ff fe ff 00 00 02 00 01 00 fe ff |................| Thanks Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Import Protools wav file into Audio cd Actual Results: Unable to handle the following files due to an unsupported format: You may manually convert these audio files to wave using another application supporting the audio format and then add the wave files to the K3b project.
