Screen grab of the Kontact icons overloading the OSX dock

Version: SVN trunk (KDE 4) (using Devel)
OS: OS X

Build: kdepim4-enterprise5 (tag 20101008)
OSX Version: 10.6.4

When starting Kontact the dock gets loaded with icons:
1 x akonadi_agent_server
1 x nepomukserver
6 x nepomukservicestub
1 x kwalletd
1 x korgac
1 x kuiserver
1 x kontact

The kwalletd icon should really appear in the task area of the OSX menu bar. In addition to appearing in the dock, the korgac icon already appears in the menu bar.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run Kontact
2. Observe dock and menu bar

Actual Results:
Dock becomes loaded with icons for "things" which were not directly invoked by the user - highly unusual to the average Mac user.

Expected Results:
The only icon to appear in the dock after starting Kontact should be the Kontact icon. kwalletd and korgac icons should appear in menu bar task area only.

kwalletd is a service and shouldn't be visible at all. Only kwalletmanagermanager should be visible to the user.

Anyway, please duplicate this report and reassign the dups to the appropriate products (kwalletmanager, akonadi and nepomuk).

This one will be reassigned to korganizer.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korgac (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
