Description Martin Tlustos 2010-10-14 09:52:01 UTC
Version: 4.5 (using KDE 4.5.2)
OS: Linux

I set up several google calendar collections with the caldav resource. Now it keeps complaining about a failed connection attempt and lets me reenter username and password, both of which are 100% correct, though. It doesn't help either, and if I click on "cancel", the calendars are still displayed.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Add Google Caldav resource

Actual Results:
keeps asking for password, if I click on cancel, it disappears and displays the calendar fine, but pops up again after a few minutes, etc..

Expected Results:
Just works (tm)... ;-)

Hi Martin,

Just to be sure, and to be able to try to reproduce your issue:
- have you checked the box to have KWallet remember you password?
- have you configured one resource with multiple calendars, or multiple resources with one calendar in each?
- which URL have you used for your calendars? Just obfuscate the username or calendar ID please.

Cheers,
Grégory

Hi Grégory

- yes, I checked the remember my password box.

- I have multiple collections in one resource (6 to be exact). I could try split them up into several resources if you think that would help.

- The url I used is
https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/somefunnynumberforeachcalendardifferent@group.calendar.google.com/events/

The specified calendar is displayed in the collections list and also shows up in korganizer. It just keeps complaining about username/password.

Cheers,
Martin

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the informations. Your problem looks a lot like the one in this bug (from message #2): https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=252082

I'll merge both and update #252082 with informations.

Cheers,
Grégory
